I am a full-time bioengineer at Caltech. I am also a fairly new part-time potter, trying everything, and specializing in nothing. I'm enjoying the process of creation and learning everything I can about ceramics.

I did my PhD work at University of Colorado Boulder, studying the role of zinc in the mammalian cell cycle. If you want to read my publications, take a look at my Google Scholar profile. I started working at Caltech in September 2024 in the Biology and Bioengineering Division working on tools for high-throughput measurements of cell state.

If you're interested in my current work, take a look at my Github and follow me on Bluesky.
